From what I understand, this proves mathematically that complex problems can be solved faster than we thought.

Now... the algorithm only works at impossible scales, so it changes (probably) absolutely nothing for real life or social networks.

A minority, at least in France, is using those networks to organize (in a pro manner) illegal activities. I got in a rabbit hole browsing those groups and I was, honestly, puzzled at how this could happen in the open.

May I recommend trying (and using) <https://github.com/NetBSDfr/smolBSD> (<https://smolbsd.org>)?

It lets you package apps using a syntax very close to a Dockerfile. It spawns lightweight NetBSD micro-VMs that boot in just 10ms. hardware sandboxing without security trade-offs.

It benefits the _whole_ chinese economy. Providing those raw tools to whatever company. What about the impact on China's GDP growth?

Whatever the consequences, I have to admit China has understood that all those are raw materials and that open sourcing everything will help growing their economy (as a whole).

The worst idea was to build corporations providing services with AI. It was an extension of the latest 50 years model, which is about to crumble. Now, we have our revolution. (Ok, ok, I am a little bit too enthusiastic, I now need a fallout shelter).

> The Americans are no longer our friends, Salut, mes amis Européens. :)

Salut ! I wouldn't say the Americans are no longer our friends, but trust is definitely gone.

Let's focus on the subject and try to distinguish the technology and the frontier companies selling it. That's the key point in understanding the whole stance.

As I understand the article, its title should be: "A Severe Misalignment of AI Frontier Companies with Ethics."
