I haven't been to elementary school recently, but I'm pretty sure kids are still taught to perform arithmetic in their head / manually before they're taught how to use calculators.

While I generally agree with the sentiment that their UXs suck... Come on! Are we really at a stage where entering your name, email company name, phone type and a small personal description of why you want the service considered a big deal?

What' especially annoying is when you as a code reviewer have to go through tons of such comments that keep distracting you because the author could not bother reading those comments and assessing that they contain references to prompts / instructions that are completely irrelevant to he target audience

These are the pain points I experienced moving from Plex to Jellyfin a while ago:

- Jellyfin forced me to organize my files into Show/Season folders, whereas Plex just handled my original flat mess of scattered files.

- When playing video on Plex, I generally have to wait some time before subtitles show up, whereas the subtitles in Plex just show up immediately

- Plex has built in search for openly available subtitles matching your video that you can use if your video lacks subtitles (not sure if Jellyfin has it too)

That said, I still prefer Jellyfin for numerous other reasons, and I don't regret my migration.

I don’t think that’s the takeaway. I think the comment simply meant to shed some light on the personal consequencea of the whistleblower that might go under the radar - both for readers and the whistleblowers themselves prior to the act.
