Chinese developer. I'd love to see Tubular be revived

Less strict in some ways, more strict in other ways. Izzy hates vibecoded apps. Ironically F-Droid official seems more tolerant

It has gotten better if anything. I used to have much more problems with it before.

With F-Droid (at least the main repo) you get extra guarantees that the apk is built by them. A thirdparty store also updates your apps, so you're not stuck at an old outdated version. I do use both F-Droid and Obtainium though.

At least it's functional, unlike in 1.x builds. I'm happy with it. But better support is always appreciated, of course

Of course. Don't even need F-Droid 2.0 for it. Fdroid 1 still supports multiple repos

There's also F-Droid Classic. For me Droid-ify never felt quite right + it never worked properly with unattended updates, for me at least.

Not a good thing. China is an authoritarian regime, which we need to reduce dependency on, not increase it.

I don't use my drive much. I still boot it up snd write some data, just not the long term one. Am I in risk?

I love how the exe-file is just a shell script, printing random messages.

It doesn't actually spy on you though, it just says that it does

Iceland is plenty icy enough on its own. Lots of glaciers. But instead of covering 99% of the island, like Greenland, it's just a significant portion of it, instead. Also the weather there isn't particularly warm or great, even if it's more hospitable than Greenland

I believe the problem is that most of the games they host are Windows games, so in that regard, Linux doesn't make sense.

And maintaining something like Proton is pretty complex, there's so many different distros. Actually ensuring the game works probably was too big of a task for them.

You can always add your gog games to Lutris though.

Tried KDE. I very much prefer Gnome with extensions
