I might change my mind on this later but right now I'm having a hard time seeing it any other way.
I think it's going to be an incredibly common, maybe universal cycle people will go through working with AI until they realize it doesn't work long term.
Folks break everything all the time and looking at their PRs and messages are clearly just having the AI respond to everything for them and actually have no idea what they're doing.
And then other people doing the same thing approve their work (presumably not reading or understanding any of it) because then the other person will do the same for theirs.
Hopefully my experience is an anomaly though :)
What a time to be alive
It does cost more but I haven't tried cheaper models to see if they can get the same results. Curious if anyone else has.
Will be interesting to see if / when enforcement happens given management is currently being pushed to encourage AI use
For example I remember reading a lot of science magazines / articles growing up (granted popsci but for a kid it still teaches some things) and as I grew up things like the Economist.
Similarly I also played games like math blaster as a kid and have realized I need to intentionally provide games like this to my kids that ideally teach something (the bar being greater than zero learning) rather than playing one of those infinite running games or whatever.
I think we're probably talking about the exact same thing but am curious where content vs. short form media is.
Thanks for sharing :)
If this is iOS on one of the recent releases there is at least one apple bug I know of that causes this.
But it could also just be the youtube app :)
