Very interesting! Maybe the AST part is more useful for diffs and merges than for compression.

Are you proposing forks of existing languages but in gitlab, and only european can approve PRs? Or a new language and OS? How does that work in practice when open source is public and users can have VPNs?

It would be a straight line (in their official map) from the south of Portugal to Kamchatka (east Russia)

If you are talking about the trail from Cape Town to Vladivostok, that one is not a straight line.

I'm so confused with the "Upgrade" example. Why does it lose the title case and why does it end up phrased as "upgrade to" instead of "Upgrade"?

Having tried gel rollerball and fountain pens, I always end up going back to clutch pencils with soft leads.

The author dismisses all pencils because he has to press down hard to use them, but I don't press down any more than I would with a fountain pen.

Being able to erase is also a bonus. Not to mention the ASMR sound!

It wasn't millions, it was half a million. And what they're getting is permission to work in Spain, so it's unrelated to the article.

I don't think "less rich population" is an accurate description of Spain. It's a high-income developed country. Perhaps you assumed the article was about Spanish speakers worldwide rather than Spain specifically?
