Software engineer at Salesforce. Prev Microsoft (Word Web, Office Sway, and developer tools). Comments are my own, I don't speak for my employer.

My worldview is that JavaScript is the most important language of the decade and that there has never been a more exciting time to be a web developer.

"We got you covered" - Dane Knecht (Cloudflare CTO)

I don't understand why Cracking The Coding Interview never published a two volume spiral bound book. It's the perfect candidate: it's huge, you're referencing two different sections regularly, and you stay on one page for quite a while. I never ended up doing it to my copy though.

Aw, Pierre shut down? Is there a write-up on that? (The code review startup idea.)

Plenty of room in old coal mines to stash all the waste we could ever want.

We bought a pair of Sactional seats used for $1k. And I'm delighted that we did because we hate how uncomfortable it is for us. If you're thinking about dropping 10k+ on a Sactional set, keep your eyes open for used and even consider doing what we did and trialing a smaller section first.

Make sure you know the cost to serve that 2MB MP3, especially if you're go viral.

I'm pretty sure I recall hearing that if you cut features that are too thin in Delerin, it gets too hot and catches fire easily. I don't think you were allowed to cut it at the maker space I was at. But it's been like 7 years so I could be fuzzy on that.

I don't see the screen dimension listed anywhere. Am I overlooking it or is that detail missing?

Too late to edit, but on the imgur graph - yellow is electric cost, orange is gas cost.

We had one (Stiebel Eltron 36KW) installed earlier this year which required a service upgrade to 320A service. AMA, though responses may be delayed a day or two.

Our all-electric home's max instantaneous draw over the last a couple months peaked around 44 kW.

Why's that? For example, wouldn't you describe any rotomolded cooler as a knockoff Yeti? To me, that doesn't seem to comment on the legit vs. counterfeit nature of the cooler, it just anchors the viewer's expectation.

Is there some special protection (in the USA) given to describing something as a "knockoff" versus "similar to"?
