Rather than criminalizing more substances we should legalize more to apply a uniform standard.

A dedicated group of people with some engineering knowledge and an achievable amount of money could easily launch a missile into space. Getting to space is easy, staying in space is what's hard. You don't even need a warhead, as long as the missile intersects the data center's orbit, just hitting it at speed will have the same effect as a bomb.

The point is moot though, as data centers in space is a complete fantasy that will never happen.

BASED. I'm going to feel a lot better about getting software from Flathub from now on.

An AI generated poster signals low effort. If you're too lazy or too cheap to make a real poster it makes me wonder what other corners have been cut.

Wow Maps is cool, I had no idea this was on my computer.

Games, especially multiplayer games, should start using CSPRNGs and hash functions for random events. This has in particular been a problem for Minecraft where people can reverse-engineer coordinates from screenshots of natural terrain. Most games don't need so much randomness that performance is an issue.

How many flights are you people taking that it's cutting into your work time? When I fly I just read a book.

The seal between the piston and the cylinder isn't perfect, so when the engine runs combustion products will mix with the oil, making the oil eventually unusable. That's why ICE engines meed oil changes so often.

The benefit is that you don't have to solve one of the hard problems in computer science (naming things).

This seems like the LLM is vastly overcomplicating things. My entire Neovim config is a single 500 line init.lua and this is enough for LSP to work.

It does (to the search engine you use) unless you turn off "Show search suggestions in address bar results".

The protests and killings were extremely widely reported at the time.

You should run away from React Native Desktop screaming. It's built on top of WinUI 3, and inherits all it's problems, while also being dramatically slower. Almost all functionality requires writing C++ code, and communicating between C++ and JS is a huge pain in the ass. Use QT instead.

And if you think using it will let you port your app to other platforms, think again. There's no drop-in compatible equivalent of RNW for Linux, and the version for Mac is even worse than the Windows version.

t. works on a huge app written with React Native Desktop
