I love KOreader for the best in class type setting imho. If an e-reader can run KOreader is a purchasing factor to me for that reason. I read a lot so it matters to me how the text looks.

Anyone experience how Kagi performs with non-english searches?

Supported. It is survivorship bias. I do sometimes learn something through reading that stuff that makes my life a little easier. But it won't make me more successfull. Pretty sur about that.

I remember the times these cans were priced way cheaper. This is a fantastic rip off across all brands.

Winning the project with a very cheap offer and making money with exessive claim management. The customer can't leave the contract and at some point has to deal with it and we're over budget...

About everything starts with an anecdote. And it works. But I am so sick of it and also stop reading or listening. I don't want any anecdote.

I dislike most the these espresso machines with touchscreen or dialing knobs on autopilot. This is disgusting coffee no matter the beans.

Imho drip coffee makers in office kitchens would be nicer.

I am often surprised how the big picture manifests itself in nitty gritty details.

I want all teams to know the big picture and you must trust their expertise and experience.

This is tough to learn to let go but that's why you hired experts in the first place.

I quite often say: If you need KPIs you're too far removed from how the company actually conducts business.

We are all humans. And talking in extremes here:

Introverts think in private. After that they may share. They need time to think through stuff.

Extroverts think while engaging with others. Sharing supports and facilitates the thought process.

You'll have a different set of pros and cons according to that and where you fall on the scale.

I try not to regret. It is a pain to do so. You can't go back in time and you can't change a thing but we torment ourselves with the wish to do so. Stop doing that. We live now and if we want to spend more time with our loved ones we have to do it. Now. Not later.

Got a new Laptop. Runs Win 11. UI ugly as hell and doesn't make much sense. Impressive feat to find ways to further downgrade from there.

Well. I am often bored... so I avoid doing things. I have yet to encounter a job without boring stuff to do. Once in a while a nice challenge comes along and my motivation is through the roof again.

Also rebelliousness fits the bill very nicely for me. Combine that with boredom. Et voila.

I stopped reading after that unbearable "Moonraker". "Diamonds Are Forever" is the next in the series. Might give it a try now.

Imho after Casino Royale the book series went south rather quickly.
