Hospitals need thorough cleaning yes and currently the quality varies greatly depending on who does the cleaning. If the cleaners have low morale and lack of motivation for whatever personal reason they do a crappy job. A robot doesn't have personal issues. The level of dexterity is not there yet but eventually cleaning will be done only by robots.
Take the 1x neo humanoid. It's lacking in autonomy only because the VLA model is still quite primitive. Now imagine what similar robots could do in 10 years if the AI side is fully developed.
Also the pricing is a non issue. A $50000 robot that can work for 5 years is a much better investment than paying a human.
We have a Miele C3 and a Dyson V8 at home. The Miele cost twice as little as the Dyson and performs twice as much in actual cleaning power, filtration etc. Both machines have great durability and have worked flawlessly for years. If I had to choose only one of them I'd get the C3 over the Dyson without a hesitation.
Also anyone with access to an LLM and half a brain can spin up a website.
It's the frictionless onboarding, simple UX and dopamine inducing content that enables those 3 companies rule the internet.
