I deleted my mainstream social media accounts about 15 years ago after realizing what they are. I am convinced that at some point most of them will be viewed the same as nicotine. I still have accounts on niche sites (like this one) that are mostly neutral, have nice, civil discussions, and are not designed to steal my time.
