Not something at Cisco scale. But a co-founder and I, rewrote a dating app we had written in Ionic/Angular/SpringBoot/Postgres to React-Native/NextJS/Supabase in two weeks, and released it without the users/paid subscribers not knowing what happened, but they were happy to see the new slick/faster interface.
We had developed the original app in 2020-2021 when Covid was around, and we were bored sitting at home not having much to do, and wanted to learn Angular. Our employer/company we worked for, wanted all of us to be to be Full-stack and both of us were backend developers. Hence we did our dating app as a side project as my co-founder was single.
Initially it was a $100 Claude Max license, and we were maxxing it at every stage, but once rewritten, $20 is good enough to maintain it.
