I have recently done the same analysis albeit lower level than yours. In your site I read the phrase "A CMS for editors and developers" and came to the exact same conclusion. Working with marketing teams and dealing with my own CMS pain points made me want to scratch my own itch, so I've been building a project of my own.
WordPress has become painfully hard to work with, but static site generators even with platforms like Vercel and Netlify are equally challenging. Explaining how to run Node.js/git or even just brew or even compile code to a non-technical user is a massive headache. Most end users just keep asking for the username and password for "my site," not realizing it's a static site built with Jekyll or Hugo.
Most marketing teams have no clue how markdown functions and explaining frontmatter to them has been revealing of how simple things are hard to understand to non tech people.
On top of that, all they really want is the ability to edit content, a simple form, and basic caching. Great site and well done on the analysis.
