I see Bamipine had an excellent response, it is widely known as an H1 antihistamine antagonist (dermal medications), not such a potent antagonist against H1 though.
I am not a biochemist, but did anyone consider testing doxepin ?
It is widely considered one of the most potent histamine H1 receptor antagonists available (don't know if this is even relevant).
An older drug, Doxepin possesses an exceptionally high, subnanomolar affinity for the human H1 receptor, with an in vitro dissociation constant ranging from 0.17 nM to 0.31 nM. It is recognized as one of the most potent H1 antagonists known across any drug class.
I rarely take it, but just a razor sliver of one pill will knock me out so badly I am virtually USELESS the next day.
