we are using phones in two situations:
Either we want to eat out and have some minutes of peace. He eats with us, we play with him and after 30-40 minutes in the restaurant he gets botherd. I understand that, it was horrible to sit at the table with my parents, they were talking and i had nothing interesting to do nor was i allowed to stand up. A movie on a phone is just nice for this situations.
Other time: We watch a family movie. Sometimes it just nice to watch a movie and one of my favorite times with my parents was when we were watching a nice movie together. Laughing together, finding odd things in the scences, etc.
