Well, yes stories is basically what LLMs are, and they're optimized to be stories that humans like. I fully expect to be entertained to death before the droid wars, but if there is a horribly misaligned LLM, I fully expect it to be created by the guy who thinks bipedal anthropomorphic robots are a good idea.
