I assume anything in Google is public information. I trust Google to respect my privacy focused settings and opt out preferences.
So far they have. If they don't I'll leave, just as I abandoned social media after the Cambridge analytica scandal.
In terms of AI companies, I personally don't want an AI companion integrated into every aspect of my life so they will never get it from me.
These companies have demonstrated they have no ethics (despite their posturing). See absorbing every piece of copyright and intellectual property and calling it fair use.
