I'm not at all concerned with how easy it is to move the mouse to the menu. It's about looking at a window in one place, and having to look up and to the left by more than a foot to focus on the menu bar.
Resizing windows already requires moving the mouse with single-pixel precision. In comparison, hitting the menu bar is very easy.
