I stayed at an Airbnb a couple of weekends ago where we were asked to take out the trash, start the dishwasher, put used towels in the downstairs shower, and strip all the bedding and leave it at the foot of the bed. It felt a little outrageous given what I paid for the weekend. The kicker was that we found stains on some of the pillows and the comforter from previous guests. At some point, you have to wonder what exactly the cleaning fee is for. I'm glad Airbnb is finally starting to crack down on this behavior.
