Tangentially to the topic, I always found funny that in Mass Effect it was possible to hook up with men, women, and even aliens with their bodies covered in space-burkas, and nobody bat an eye, but polygamy was completely off limits: if you tried to establish a relationship with two at the same time, everybody just gets angry at you and you only face rejection.
