I stay in Airbnbs for about 3 months at a time (traveling abroad for a couple of years) and treat them as a leased apartment. I buy supplies for the place and clean it like it's my own. And when I leave, I generally leave it as clean as I found it.
I think this move will be more taxing for hosts who have long-term guests as this will allow guests to treat their property more as a hotel with room service.
