All holiday rental platforms charge somewhere between 17-22%. Responsibility of a platform is zero. As a guest all you can do if something goes wrong is to shorten the stay after hanging 1 hour on the customer service phone line. Everyone would be better off with some local message boards and visitors taking few extra steps to find holiday rental.
