I hear this a lot, but I have personally had terrible luck with Apple hardware. The most notable was the butterfly keyboard, but thermal issues were a fairly notable problem on several bits of kit as well.
Mind you, I've not owned any apple hardware in probably 5 or 7 years, but that's just been my luck when I did.
