A gun is a tool too. Now the problem is of course? guns do not kill people. People who use guns do. The crux of the problem to me it seems is. How we use the tool? i am NOT a believer in tge A.I doomsday ala AYN RAND. I think its just HYPE. A.I is built by humans. Humans have an evolutionary motive. A.I does not. A.I does not have Agency. It would "appear" that way but it does not. "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic," which is known as Clarke's Third Law. I agree A.I is a tool. You just need to practice using it. It can be used for bad or good. I bet criminals are already at it. A model without guardrails. Dark A.I. You can't have the good without the bad.
