My father was the first man in our family to live past 50. Maybe we’re overthinking it. And by it, I mean everything. Despair is the price one pays for setting oneself an impossible aim. The fact that I can wallow in self-pity of a comforting echo chamber in a swipe and a click and 0 emotional effort compared say, calling my mom; we have been aggressively primed and modified in our behaviors for the last 20 years and people are really wondering why people are committing suicide?

The only people afraid to put AI in charge are the ones who have invested interest in keeping you sad, lonely, and afraid.
