I had been going to the same dentist, who was also a family friend, my whole life (30+ years). When I told him I couldn’t go to him anymore bc I was moving away, he told me to be careful bc a lot of dentist will try to upsell me on stuff. Lo and behold the first new dentist I went to offered me a bunch of treatments and tried to tell me I had issues that needed correcting.
