We've been wondering the same thing. We take the stance that most of their code will be written with AI if they were to get the job, so this should be no different. However, the question becomes: Can they determine if the output is correct/well formed/production quality. While the standard leetcode is no longer a good test of someones abilities, we've found that having them talk about their solution to an interviewer does tell us if someone knows what they're talking about.
