Is it me or is there an entire generation stuck inside a 1999 film? The Matrix was great eye candy, but it wasn't meant to be taken as seriously as some people have made it out to be. Recalibrate if you're still stuck on the word 'woke' because if you can't clearly and adequately define the word you're using, it's a good sign you should probably drop it from your vocabulary. The same goes for the pill metaphor. It was lazy when Morpheus used it just as it was lazy when Dr. Edgemar used it in Total Recall. Wake up, Neo!
