I actually wrote my own scripting language (Tang... complete with JIT compilation on x86_64 with a bytecode fallback) so that I could have flexible, familiar syntax (cross of C++ and Python) but without the danger of random imports. I built it for my CMS. I just need to get back to it. Again, I may invoke LLMs this time, as all of my previous work was done the old-fashioned way.
