Any growth hacking tips to get my app it's first 10 users?

I just finished my first iOS app and finished all the documentation to get it reviewed. Nice. The problem is, I already validated the app with friends and family and some trial groups but the truth is that, now that it's ready, I really have no idea how to promote it. I know many are stuck at distribution but damn, what makes it so hard??? Reddit is filled with people with this issue, and it feels like everything is hyper spammy now...
