> 𓇋 is pronounced “ee” as in “feet”

> 𓅱 𓏲 is pronounced “oo” as in “blue”

Are those vowel-sounding hieroglyphs only used in special occasions?

Also, does anyone know what the reason for omitting vowels altogether may have been?
