I create web games and wanted to record demos on my phone with a face cam overlay, similar to the ones you see on YouTube and TikTok gameplay videos. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any app that did this effectively, so I decided to build my own, called Demo Scope. It’s an iOS app that includes a built-in browser. You can load any website, position a draggable and resizable face cam, and start recording. The app also displays touch indicators, allowing viewers to see what you’re tapping on the screen. Additionally, it supports RTMP streaming, so you can go live if you prefer.
