Comment Comment by willfeld TikTok makes you download the app or log in just to watch a video.Turns out the videos themselves are public - they’re just buried behind redirects, tracking, and aggressive login prompts.So I built See TikTok as a weekend project to let you watch TikToks instantly in your browser.Just replace tiktok.com with seetiktok.com in any video link.Example: https://tiktok.com/@user/video/12345 -> https://seetiktok.com/@user/video/12345No login, no tracking, no app - just lets you watch the video. No more screen recording or downloading TikToks for your friend who doesn't have an account.Would love to hear any feedback! parent willfeld 1 year ago
Turns out the videos themselves are public - they’re just buried behind redirects, tracking, and aggressive login prompts.
So I built See TikTok as a weekend project to let you watch TikToks instantly in your browser.
Just replace tiktok.com with seetiktok.com in any video link.
Example: https://tiktok.com/@user/video/12345 -> https://seetiktok.com/@user/video/12345
No login, no tracking, no app - just lets you watch the video. No more screen recording or downloading TikToks for your friend who doesn't have an account.
Would love to hear any feedback!
