I’ve been working on extending my side project *RelightAI* into the e-commerce space.
I just built a *Chrome extension* that lets you:
- Open any shopping website (clothes, shoes, etc.)
- Upload your own photo
- Instantly generate an *AI try-on preview* of the product
Why I built this:
Online shopping often feels like a gamble since you can’t really try items on. I wanted to experiment with AI to make that process more visual and fun.
Status:
- Core works, but the UX is rough
- Some bad cases (alignment isn’t always perfect)
- Still very early, so I’d love feedback on what’s useful / what’s missing
