No they aren’t.

Biofuels in use, keep atmospheric carbon neutral.

Fossil fuels increase atmospheric carbon.

Now, if we did make biofuels and reinject them into the ground, yes it would reduce atmospheric carbon.

But neutral is strictly better than increasing, regardless yes?
