Comment Comment by max_ Why can't researchers just publish something on a pre-print like ArXiv?Why do they have to go to Journals that require payment for both readers & authors?The machine learning/ml community pretty much gave up on the Journal model and most of the ground breaking papers are available for free on ArXiv.Why are these scientists complaining?
