I understand your feelings but I do also wonder if its not similar to complaining about compilers or garbage collection. I'm sure there are people that love fiddling with assembly and memory management by hand. I assume there will be plenty of interesting/novel problems no matter the tooling because, fundamentally, software is about solving such problems.
