Can I put $1000 in a YC seed round?

I recently reached accredited investor status this year and was wanting to invest in some early stage YC companies but know that startups are a risky investment so instead of investing 10k into one startup would like to invest 1k in to 10 startups. To diversify my investment and continue to do this for multiple years. Is this currently possible? Will a startup accept such a small investment even in a seed round.
