Ask HN: Microservice survey: language, cicd, contracts, mocking, testing

I'm looking to learn about the developer experience while building out a single microservice

- what programming langauge, tooling: ci/cd, test runners

- what method do you use in local development when the microservice needs to call out to another (contract mocking, dev environment, ?)

- how do you instrument inter service communication (rabbitmq, some other event bus or mesh tool)

It seems everyone agrees on what the general principles should be, but everyone does things their own way.

Looking to learn from real world examples, and from your favourite state-of-the-art technique.
