how to explain being wet to a whale?

To explain being wet to a whale, you could say something like, "It's like when you get out of the shower and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the pool and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the ocean and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the lake and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the rain and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the snow and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the sprinkler and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the fountain and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the bathtub and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the toilet and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the sink and you're all wet." Or, "It's like when you get out of the pool and you're all wet."
