Ask HN: What is your view on MBA product managers?

I have found by-and-large they have relatively little interest in tech & design, and treat product-building more as a game to be played, particularly within the boundaries of BigTech. This makes it difficult to really deliver the “user value” they hammer on about as conflicts of interest tend to compromise the quality of decisions and, subsequently, the product.

And yet, both early- and late-stage tech companies are hiring them in droves.
