Despite being a proficient software engineer, I've found myself yearning for a new path. In addition to my day job, I've managed teams at Ace Makerspace, an Oakland-based non-profit. Overseeing multiple teams, I've improved stagnant departments by removing cluttering tools, updating for accessibility, and streamlining expenses. This has honed my leadership and communication skills, which I'm eager to use in a formal setting.
