It’s in defense of capitalism. Most coups are against what leftists want — socialism. Otherwise why would the US do things like get a million plus Indonesian Muslim communist sympathizers murdered by right wingers in 65? America has gone after every non capitalist country and does agitprop for places like Tibet or Taiwan and capitalists as a whole while vilifying and trying to overthrow Cuba.
