It's not just a headsche for Meta's programmers. Anyone involved with bookkeeping and synchronizing has an unnecessary bugbear to deal with. Every six months is simply too often. If it was switched to an adjustment made every 2-10 decades with at least a decade to update the file then the problem would be greatly lessened.
