Ask HN: What can you practice every day to improve at programming?
In piano, at a very low level, one of the most basic skills you can practice are scales. You can almost do them mindlessly and if you do it enough, you will improve.
I'm curious whether there's a similar primitive for programming. Whether there's a baseline skill you can practice daily and find yourself inevitably improving.
