As a disabled person, I totally recoiled and revulsed at the OP’s audacity and emboldeness to demand how other should behave toward him.

I would never pull someone down to sit down to my eye level if in a wheelchair, never.

I would never pull someone closer to me so I can read lips better.

And certainly I would never remotely pull them to something that I want, as in this case, digital remote camera.

However, it is a courtesy to ask them to adjust for your sake. And only a courtesy.

This OP dude needs a proverbial slap across the face.

Just ask, curtly and nicely.
