The limit is the battery chemistry or the chemistry related internal resistance of the battery, not the cable. Lowering the resistance of the cable helps keep the cable cooler, thinner and lowers losses but it is bullshit that lowering the resistance of the cable is going to make a 30 minute charge down to 5 minutes. Of course, if the battery and charger currently takes 10 minutes, maybe.
