I just want to invert the shell and the terminal: a programming language that spawns piped text boxes or terminal emulator box for each command run.
screen/tmux is also all wrong: the "rendering" should be entirely client side, with server-side running the commands with pipes and keeping some state and history from which to render scrollback, but that's it.
