We don't hear anything like this in Europe from the vast majority of patients that beat Covid. Either the data is recorded differently, or this virus has shown something quite obvious to outside watchers: the U.S. is a sick country, relying on amounts of drugs unheard of in other parts of the western world, and disgraced by the largest obesity epidemic of the globe. I know this quite a brisk statement, but it's daunting to see how the American public opinion considers absolutely normal and justified a vast range of lifestyle-induced physical disabilities.
