I try to love OBS but even the simplest thing (sharing a portion of your screen) requires tons of fiddling to get it work (you need to get the right area with sliders instead of just drawing it on the screen).
I guess it’s once again the same old story. In theory, it is a wonderful piece of open source software, but because of the lack of competent designers in the OSS-scene, the UX is awful for casual and first-time users. For pro-users, however, it is perfect.
