I would bite AMDs hand off for a Mac mini equivalent with a reasonable graphics card and AMDs latest chips in. Everything in JavaScript/Docker land on projects of scale takes an absolute age to run all the tests on a laptop. Fans are constantly on and throttling. It’s crazy that JS dev is this hardware inefficient...
